I live in the small, artsy town of Salida, Colorado with my husband Andrew and my dog Simon. We enjoy hiking, biking, music and all the great stuff a small mountain living has to offer. Salida is also a very earth-conscious community where recycling and living close to the earth are the norm rather than the exception. While being active in our local community radio station, I saw many old vinyl records way beyond use and destined for a landfill. This prompted me to find another solution. I did quite a bit of experimentation to find a way to re-create all that "trash" into beautiful and useful objects. As I work on each record, the song titles bring music and memories back into my head.
